Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by your Guide, Representatives and transfer to Nigambo Beach Hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure.

Day-05 : Anuradhapura & Yapahuwa Rock
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for visit the Yapahuwa Rock fortress.
Yapahuwa is a huge rock fortress located on a very pleasant shaded site. The fort palace & town were built sheltering on the south side of the crag, protected by two ramparts & a moat. The ramparts form a rough semicircle, the ends of which join the foot of the high steep-sided rock. Then travel to Anuradhapura, and visit the Anuradhapura Cultural site.
Anuradhapura is the birthplace of Sinhala civilization & one of the world's largest archeological sites. It is considered as the greatest monastic city of the ancient world, & was founded in the 5th century BC.

Day-06 : Mihintale Rock & Polonnaruwa
After Breakfast and leave for visit the Mihintale rock temple.
Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrimage site, and the site of several religious monuments and abandoned structures.
Then travel to polonnaruwa and visit the Polonnaruwa Cultural site.
Polonnaruwa was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to the 13th century AD. This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centers of this island's cultural heritage. In its prime, the city, inside it's 3.12 miles strong encircling walls, housed hundreds of thousands of people.

Day-07 : Sigiriya Rock & Minnariya National Park
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Sigiriya and visit the Sigiriya rock fortress.
One of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit.
An evening you can go for the elephant ride at sigiriya.
An evening visit a forest Buddhist monastery. And the afternoon Take a jeep safari through the Minneriya National Park , looking for elephants, deer, peacocks, boars, and many kinds of birds.

Day-08 : Golden Rock Temple & Temple of the Tooth
Next day breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy via Dambulla and Matale. En-route visits the Golden rock temple.
Golden Rock is a cave temple which dates back to the 1st Century .BC. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful frescoes which depict Buddhist mythology and the tales of the Buddha's previous births. The caves house the largest collection of Buddha statues in one place.
From Dambulla drive to Matale to visit the Nalanda Gedige temple.
The small building is designed like a Hindu temple with a mandapa, an entrance hall (originally roofed), a short passage to a bare cello, and an ambulatory round the holy center. There is no sign of Hindu gods, however, and the temple is said to have been used by Buddhists. This is one of the earliest buildings of stone constructed in Ceylon.
Then travel to Kandy visit the Matale spice garden. In Kandy visit the Temple of the Tooth. View a cultural dance in evening.
Kandy, last seat of the Sinhala Kings, is a very popular destination for visitors from home and abroad.

Day-09 : Elephant Opernage & Botanic Garden Peradeniya
After breakfast leave for visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage.
Elephant Orphanage, a institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. If you leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephants bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed.
Then travel Kandy En-route visit the Peradeniya Botanicle garden and evening you will have a city tour in Kandy.
The Royal Botanic Gardens Peradeniya is well known for its large variety of plant life. The great lawns highlight huge tropical trees and a variety of bamboo can be found in one place. The Royal Botanic Gardens was established in 1821.

Day-10 : Tea Factory & Ramboda Waterfall
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Nuwara Eliya. En-route visits a Tea factory,Tea plantation and Ramboda waterfall.
Sri Lanka being famous for its "Ceylon Tea" has added cheer to many the world over for more than a century. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as "Little England")
An evening you will have a cit tour in Nuwara eliya and visit the Gregory lake.

Day-11 : Hortain Plains & Kalani River
Earlier morning you will Travel to hortain plains and have a brief walk (around 1 hour) and travel to kitulgala. Visit kelani river & other attractions around kitulgala.
Horton Plains is a unique natural attraction in Sri Lanka. It is located in the highest plateau of the country and its known for its beautiful landscapes and rare plant and animal life. The Horton plains is one of the most important catchment areas in Sri Lanka which acts as a giant sponge which store rain water and then feed several major rivers of the country through out the year. The vegetation mainly consists of wet grass lands and montane forest. The weather at Horton Plains is quite dynamic. Average temperature varies between 5 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius. The Kelani River (the broadest river in Sri Lanka) flowing through Kitulgala was the main location where the Oscar winning movie Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed.
Then travel to Nuwara Eliya and Checkout from the hotel and leave for yala. En-route visit the Ella gap and ravana waterfall.

Day-12 : Yala National Park
Earlier morning you will go for a game drive to Yala , one of the island's most popular wildlife parks where you could see all most all the animals which is found in Sri Lanka.
One of Sri Lanka 's premier eco tourism destinations, lies 24km northeast of Tissamaharama and 290km from Colombo on the southeast coast of Sri Lanka, spanning a vast 97,878 hectares over the Southern and Uva Provinces.
The vegetation in the park comprises predominantly of semi-arid thorny scrub, interspersed with pockets of fairly dense secondary forest. Small patches of mangrove vegetation also occur along the coastal lagoons. The park is renowned for the variety of its Wildlife (most notably its many elephants) and its fine coastline (with associated coral reefs). It also boasts a large number of important cultural ruins, bearing testimony to earlier civilizations and indicating that much of the area used to be populated and well developed.

Day-13 : Gall Dutch Fortress & Turtle Hatchery
Next day you will travel to Visit the Gall Dutch Fortress and Turtle Hatchery.
Gall Dutch Fortress
An ancient city which is now a modern and buzzing town today. It was the most important sea port way back in history, where the sea faring merchants arrived to trade and barter. This is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch. The fortress is one of the best preserved in the island. A visit to the fortress and to watch the sunset from the rampart is an experience unforgettable.
The oldest Protestant church in the country called the 'Groote Kirk' built by the Dutch is located inside the Fort. It is situated close to New Oriental Hotel also built by them as the Governor's Residence in 1684.
Projects have been launched to conserve the population of turtles that are reaching extinction and such projects are found along the southern coast of Sri Lanka where turtles come as hop to lay their eggs. The turtle digs a hole on the Beach, Lays hers eggs and covers it with sand where it is suppose, incubate by the heat of the sun.
What often happens is the eggs are dug out by fisherman and sold to people who consume them. But now the eggs are bought up by the conservation projects and hatched the Natural way in enclosed areas and the Birds don't have a chance of picking them up. This offers them a better chance of survival.
